How to Connect Square Appointments with the Meta Pixel (Step-by-Step)

Square Appointments and the Meta Pixel connected together

The problem: Square Appointments won't let you install the Meta Pixel

Square's native booking pages are hosted by Square — you can't add a Meta Pixel to them, so bookings never reach Facebook or Instagram ad tracking. That's why we built iBooker.online: a fast, secure booking widget that stores none of your customers' data and passes every real booking straight through to your Meta Pixel in real time.

  1. 1Connect your Square Appointments account to iBooker.online — one click, official Square OAuth, revoke anytime.
  2. 2iBooker.online becomes your booking page (standalone, or embedded as a widget on your own site). Your services, staff and calendar stay exactly as they are in Square — nothing to rebuild.
  3. 3Every booking made through it can now be tracked. The steps below connect that to your Meta Pixel.

With Square connected, add the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to your iBooker.online booking page — so every real booking fires AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase events for Facebook and Instagram ad optimization. Each step has its own screenshots; use the arrows or dots to move through them.

Step 1 — Create a Meta Pixel (skip if you already have one)

Only needed once per Meta Business account. If you already have a Pixel, skip straight to the next step.

1 / 6

Go to Meta Events Manager and click the + icon to add a new data source.

Step 2 — Copy your Pixel ID and paste it into iBooker.online

The step that actually turns your bookings into Meta Pixel events. About 1 minute.

1 / 2

In Meta Events Manager, open Datasets (left sidebar) and copy the ID shown under your Pixel's name.

Step 3 — Embedding the widget on your own site? Install the Pixel there too

Only needed if you embed iBooker as a widget/iframe on your own website, rather than sending customers straight to your ibooker.online booking page.

ImportantIf you embed the iBooker widget as an iframe on your own website, this same Meta Pixel must also be installed directly on your website — not just in iBooker.online's settings. Without it, a click from a Facebook or Instagram ad that lands on your own domain can't be tied to the booking that happens inside the widget. Add the code below to your site's <head>, or send it to your webmaster/developer.
1 / 4

In Meta Events Manager, open Integrations and select Meta Pixel.

Step 4 — Verify it's actually working

Don't just trust it — watch the events arrive live, right inside Meta Events Manager. About 2 minutes.

1 / 2

Open your Pixel's dataset → Test events, choose Website, enter your booking page URL, and click Test Events.

Step 5 — Turn on Automatic Advanced Matching for a better match rate

One more toggle in Meta Events Manager so more of your bookings get matched to the ad that drove them, using data your Pixel already collects. Under a minute, and it's the last step.

1 / 2

Open your dataset → Settings → turn on Automatic advanced matching, and leave every field switched on — the more it can hash and match, the more bookings get credited to the right ad.
